Scrapbook Organization: What are your biggest challenges? (And a chance to win!)

I am super excited to be a part of Spawn of True Scrap. You may recall that I participated in the first True Scrap...or you may be thinking “What is the Spawn of True Scrap?” Well if you're in that second group, Spawn of True Scrap is an amazing online scrapbook event happening this October that allows you to take live classes from expert instructors all from the comfort of your own home! (Click here to view more details.)

In my new class I’ll be sharing tips, secrets and a simple process that will show you how to make the most of your scrapbook space. If you scrapbook in small space, a shared space, or at a temporary space like on your kitchen table—this class is designed with you in mind. I’ll be showing you how to find hidden pockets of storage space for your scrapbook supplies. Plus, you’ll learn how to make the most of your area with space-stretching storage solutions. You’ll also learn how to create a functional and inspiring scrapbook area that will make you a happy and productive scrapbooker.

As I’m putting together this class I wanted to reach out to you and find out your biggest challenges when it comes to scrapbook organization. I’d love to share solutions to your challenges in the class content. And…as a way to say thank you for taking the time to answer, one lucky person will be drawn at random to win a signed copy of The Organized & Inspired Scrapbooker and a One-Room Organizing Plan Coaching Package with me (value of $125.) With this coaching package you and I will work together to solve your scrapbook organizing dilemmas and put together a plan to create an organized, functional and inspiring scrapbook space. Sound fun?

Here’s how to enter for a chance to win a signed copy of the Organized & Inspired Scrapbooker and a One-Room Organizing Plan Coaching Package:

My scrap space is part of my dining room. Since I live with my 7-year-old son half of the time, it doesn't bother many people. I have a friend who is an interior designer who helped me make the most of my space and guided me in buying furniture. It's a great place, but since I have a lot of material, especially paper, I am running out of space. Paper is my favourite product to buy, but it does take up a lot of room...
I would love to get your ideas and help.
Thanks for this wonderful givaway ;)

I am really looking forward to begin scrapping. Is it odd to begin this in middle age?? I attempted it some years ago, but got discouraged hauling out the materials and arranging everything. By the time I had set up work, my spare time had run out, and it was time to pack up! I learned not to leave papers out on the table....the cat has an appetite for them!

I have a craft room. It's about 10x10. For me, the biggest challenge is that I enjoy collecting supplies as much as I enjoy creating projects, which means that I sometimes feel like the walls of my room are going to fall down on me. I wish that I could pare what I have down to the things I REALLY love and get rid of the rest without guilt.

1-On my computer now, because I got overwhelmed by the room full of stuff and not enough time, and digital is faster! I do have a scraproom that we use for crafts and gift making!

I "liked" you on FB!

I scrap in my husband's at-home office. My biggest challenge is keeping his work stuff from getting mixed in with my stuff. My craft table tends to be a dumping ground for everything! Thanks for the great giveaway!

My biggest challenge is making a space that works well as both my craft/scrapbooking space, is organized, and also functions well as my "business" space-- for graphic design. My space needs to be inspiring, neat, functional... and I have the same problem that many crafters do--I tend to "hoard" supplies. Which makes things not "neat" and instead "cluttered" and messy.

I need your HELP!

I scrapbook in my dining room and my biggest issue is too much stuff and not enough space to put it all!

I currently scrap in our office, but we're about to move and will need to carve out part of our master bedroom for my scraping work. My greatest challenge is just keeping the materials both organized and accessible.

I just liked Simplify 101 on Facebook!

I have a small office space that is slowly being overcome by my children and all their things. My biggest challenge, besides keeping the kids out, is storing and using my scrap pieces of paper. I have them in ziploc bags by color, but it's not really working for me.

I try to scrapbook on our dining room table. My biggest challenge is getting started and finding all of the supplies. I'm having a hard time organizing and this will be great!

I have a room in my new house that will be my scrapbooking/craft/sewing room. It is off of the kitchen (which is where you can find me when I am not in the craft room) through beautiful french doors. I have an out of sight, out of mind probelm. How do you organize and be able to see everything? I have supplies that are not ever used because I forget about them. This happens mostly with my scrapbooking supplies. Thanks for the chance to win.
