Monday Morning Check In
Happy Monday morning to you. I hope yours was a good weekend. This is the place to share how you did with your weekend to-do list.
Our weekend was busy. Lots of basketball and even more travel to and from basketball games. It was fun for certain, but I think I spent more time in the car than in my home. So my to-do list probably got longer over the weekend instead of shorter…but it’s all good. Here’s the update…
Play List:
- Boot camp class. Check!
- Watch basketball games. Check, check, check, check!
- Birthday celebration with family. Check!
To Finish:
- Laundry. Almost a check.
- Plan meals for the week. Check!
- Clean. I did the barebones minimum here…and got some help from one of my kiddos.
I also mowed the lawn, ran some errands, did a little bit of weeding, and finished potting flowers. All in all a good weekend with a nice mix of fun and getting things done. I hope you had a great weekend, too. I’m looking forward to your updates!
Fun:
1. Date night with hubby. Check! We also had dinner with some friends and I went out with my Mom; so I was able to have more fun afterall!
Finish:
1. Cut pallets for bench. Check!
2. Stain bench. No check because I decided to scrap the project after cutting the pallets. It didn't match the look I wanted. However, I was able to get some chairs at a discount. I got my extra seating anyway! I consider that a check!
3. Repaint lounge chairs. Check!
4. Repot some plants. No check. Too hot!
5. Make solar planter/light feature. Check.
6. Drop off recycling. Check.
7. Clean house. Check.
8. Laundry. Folded and put away. Check!
9. Stain A/C cover to match bench. No check.
10. Paint frame to finish DIY love bird art. Check!
I was also able to run a bunch of errands with my husband and painted a tray my mother gave me. All in all, a successful weekend!

Wow! Is the weekend over already?! It seems like it was Friday just a second ago! :) The weekend may have been fast but I did get most of my list finished.
Finish List:
-Laundry! Only 3 loads to go.>CHECK
-Clean Master Bathroom & Kid's Bath>CHECK
-Vac floors>CHECK
-Do Homework for Child Development class.>CHECK
-Attend a Child Development class.>CHECK
-Attend a Summer Curriculum class.>CHECK (both classes were SO much fUn!! :)
Play List
-2 Baseball Games Sat & 1 Sunday.>Canceled due to lots of rain. :(
-Get end of the year gifts for son's teachers.-Still need to put the finishing touches on them.
-Game Night w/ family.- Instead we spent time together playing outside.
-Movie w/ hubs!>CHECK

I think I did okay with mine considering there wasn't much LOL
Saturday -- sleep in(check). Way in(not so much). Maybe check out a small carnival in town(nope. kinda forgot about it). And make stir fry(YES, except it was on Sunday. I prepped it on Saturday). If I don't sleep all day)I didn't, but i did take a 5 hour nap).
Sunday -- church(nope. Slept in). Run For the Wall in the late afternoon (yep, plus I went to the library).
I am getting most of my stuff done this week and next before our 1 week vacation :)

Good Afternoon! I was at sunny Florida so I didn't post anything to do this weekend. I did get the wash done on Sunday and Grocery shopping so I felt good about that. I also gathered all my banking so I was ready to go this morning. It was wonderful to get away for a week and have so much fun. Hope everyone has a great week.

Vacuum - DONE
Dusting - DONE
Plan meals + shop for the week - DONE
Sweep garage - DONE twice!
Weed garden bed if weather cooperates! - Yes, DONE
Catch up on email - DONE
Stay caught up on laundry - DONE

Youngest son received an "Outstanding" rating for his piano performance, grandson did great on the trip to San Marcos, DD had a blast at her Leadership Orientation, and oldest son arrived safely in California. A very good weekend, indeed!
