Monday Check In

Happy Monday! I hope you had a fantastic weekend filled with lots of fun and done. For me, the fun won out over the done...but I’m okay with that. Here’s how things turned out…

 

Play List

• Boot camp. Check! (Thank goodness I did this on Thursday!)
• Wedding shower.  Check! This ended up taking up a good portion of my Saturday, but it was fun and turned out very nice.
• True Scrap. Check!  This was so much fun. 
• Take some photos. Check!

 

To Finish

• Finish spring clean-out in my daughter’s room. Nope, but we did spring clean the cars and the dog. It was gorgeous here this weekend…so we looked for things that needed doing outside.
• Start + finish laundry.  Almost a check! I’ve got a lingering load to finish up today.
• Plan weekly meals + make grocery list. Check!
• Clean. Check!
• Make more decisions about summer camps. Nope. Will work on this some more this week.

 

So...I didn't get it all done, but it was fun and we do have clean clothes to wear, food to eat, and the house is in pretty good shape. So all in all, it was a good weekend. :) How did your weekend go?  

Let's Get Organized for the Weekend

Happy Friday to you! It’s time to get organized for the weekend and share our finish it Friday to-do lists. If you haven’t played along before, jump into the fun this weekend! It’s simple, and it will help you have more fun and get more done. Okay…I’ll go first. ;)

 

Play List

• Boot camp. Check! Really, that’s not a typo; I went to boot camp last night. I have a wedding shower to go to on Saturday morning and I didn’t want to miss out on boot camp completely this week…so I went last night. It was my first 8 PM boot camp, and I must say my body wasn’t real receptive to the idea of working out that hard that late in the day. But…we did it! 
• Wedding shower. (Get bagels, wrap gift and go.)
• True Scrap. I’m so excited. My interview / Q+A session is today at 1 PM eastern / noon central. If you haven’t signed up yet, there’s still time. Go to the True Scrap website to learn more. (Choose the all-access pass PLUS full replays to get in on yesterday’s events, too.)
• Take some photos. I started a photography class on Tuesday…and I have some homework. Yay!

 

To Finish

• Finish spring clean-out in my daughter’s room. (It’s ba-ack.)
• Start + finish laundry.
• Plan weekly meals + make grocery list.
• Clean.
• Make more decisions about summer camps.

Happy Monday my friends! How was your weekend? Ours was busy, busy, busy...and beautiful weather. It was a terrific spring weekend. I hope yours was great, too! Here's my weekend to-do list update:

 

Play List

• Boot camp. Check! It feels good to be back!
• Basketball game. Check!
• Do something creative. Does cooking count?

 

To Finish

• Finish spring clean-out in my daughter’s room. I didn't do this but we did tons of other spring cleaning including the annual spring garage clean out, decluttered my closet and did the seasonal clothing swap, and did some spring cleaning in the storage room of our basement. Woohoo!
• Finish laundry. I feel like I’ve been doing laundry all week…and there’s still a full sorter in the laundry room! Check!
• Plan weekly meals + make grocery list. This will include making a Trader Joe’s list as I’ll be stopping by T.J.s on Monday. (Woohoo!) Check!
• Clean, clean, clean! I plan to do the standard weekly cleaning, plus tackle some more of the items on my spring cleaning checklist. Check! Progress was made. Yay!
• Pick up taxes. Check!

It’s Time to Get Organized for the Weekend

Happy Friday my friends! I hope you had a fantastic week. I finally feel like I’m over the fuzz of being gone for a week…and I’m feeling motivated to get some things done this weekend. How about you? Do you have big plans for the weekend? Here’s what’s on tap for me…

 

Play List

• Boot camp. Yikes! I’ve missed it two weeks in a row…it should be interesting tomorrow.
• Basketball game. We have just one game this weekend which means more time for home stuff.
• Do something creative. I have a couple of ideas…but will wait and see what strikes my fancy over the weekend.

To Finish

• Finish spring clean-out in my daughter’s room.
• Finish laundry. I feel like I’ve been doing laundry all week…and there’s still a full sorter in the laundry room!
• Plan weekly meals + make grocery list. This will include making a Trader Joe’s list as I’ll be stopping by T.J.s on Monday. (Woohoo!)
• Clean, clean, clean! I plan to do the standard weekly cleaning, plus tackle some more of the items on my spring cleaning checklist. I’m actually excited about this…it must be a spring thing.
• Make some decisions about summer camps.
• Pick up taxes. They've been done for a while, we just need to go and pick 'em up.
