Monday Morning Check-In

Happy Monday to you! I hope you had a terrific weekend. Mine was very nice. Collin had a terrific birthday—and three wonderful celebrations. (Thank you everyone who sent him happy birthday wishes.)  Aside from the birthday festivities, I got a few things finished up, too. Hooray! Here’s my list:

  • Finished the last-minute details and preparations for the birthday celebrations.
  • (Almost) finished laundry. I think laundry is a thankless job, so I mention it here a lot. It always feels good to get it done, and almost done feels pretty good, too.
  • Finished planning the week. The plan includes a trip to Michigan on Friday. (Yay!) I’m really looking forward to that one.
  • Returned Kailea’s too-big snow boots. That one has been lingering on the list for quite some time. Now I just need to order some that will fit!
  • Planned Thanksgiving dinner.

So…that is the noteworthy stuff on the finished list. Okay, the noteworthy part is probably debatable…but none-the-less, there it is. So how about you; what did you finish this weekend? Hope you had a great one!

We cleaned up the front garden beds and put our Christmas lights on the bushes (it was in the 60s here, which is rare for Ohio in Nov.). We're not turning them on for weeks, but they're up.

I also did a few returns and bought more supplies to finish my command center. Very tired by the end of the day, but it felt good.

Went to a crop on Saturday and worked on a bunch of images for cards that have been needing done. Of course I was happy to have the wash/ironing done. I also made a trip to the store and Wockenfuss candy for the holidays. I also finished a gift and gave it to my friend to mail with a package that she is sending out. So that off my list. I finished 2 books. It was a good weekend and a few things are completed. Hope you have a great day!

    1. I safely returned from my vacation in Cancun.

    2. Unpacked all of my bags.

    3. Did most of my vacation laundry. I agree with you that laundry is a thankless job so I pat myself on the back.

    4. Bought my wedding dress!

    5. Caught up on my phone calls, text messages, and emails from vacation. That took an entire afternoon!

Now I just need to get back into the work-week-groove and I'll be set!

Yes! I agree. Sharing with others what you got done on your to do list is great. I feel good about what I accomplished this weekend.
