glimpses of spring...

on my window sill...

IKEA-pots-of-grass

in my front yard...

Star-magnolia

and in my back yard, too.

Are you seeing signs of spring where you live, too? As a Michigan girl for the first half of my life, it always thrills me to see spring in March! Love spring.

In other news, I'm starting this photography class next week, because, honestly, there's only so much you can do in auto focus mode. ;) Can't wait to start taking and sharing more photos. Wish me luck. :)

Love the Ikea pots put to work! They look very crisp with the green popping out!

Seeing the Magnolia blossoms makes me miss the Magnolia tree at our old place. I wish I could've brought the tree with me :(

Seeing everyone's Spring things on their blogs is making me depressed :( Seriously. It'll be into May beofre the trees start to show their leaves. After the May long weekend before any flowers will be planted. Spring is still soooooo far away. No wonder we cherish spring/summer so much here. It comes so late. We just got 6 inches of snow and this morning it was -14F what the heck is that about??!?! Supposed to be atound 26F for the next few daytime highs.

But I have to remind myself why I live here. My family is here. My girls see their grandparents, aunties and uncles at least once a week. We visit, they sleepover, they babysit. Our business is hear and would be hard to run in most places. So I guess I have to put up with the depressing weather.

Sorry for the vent. But I least I thought of some positive things.

I love those pots, they're from Ikea? My flowers are starting to come up and it's so exciting. You can hear the birds chirping again...I can't wait.

Aby

Yes! The pots are from IKEA and super, duper inexpensive. Love that! :)
